BACCANO is a new venture. A new concept, a new location, and new owners who wanted to bring not only the authentic taste of Italy, but its old world appeal to Vancouver, Canada. Our challenge was to support the launch of BACCANO in Kitsilano, we took a fresh approach that reflects Italy’s timeless charm as well as the neighborhoods youthful appeal.
From concept to execution, we were tasked with developing a branding strategy that celebrates history without sacrificing the contemporary and progressive zeal that defines Kitsilano and its residents. So how do you make tradition current? BACCANO is all about simplicity combining classic recipes with fresh ingredients for a satisfying meal. Their branding strategy needed to be more of the same.
What we did
Print design: Business cards, Menus
Let the restaurant speak for itself! A warm and welcoming interior design and a fresh and local menu embody the BACCANO vision provoca piacere…provoke pleasure! So our branding strategy needed to be clean, simple, and consistent. From the logo to business cards, signage, menus, and other printed materials, the classically modern theme permeates every aspect of the restaurant and its brand.
BACCANO opened on time and on budget with a friendly, knowledgeable staff ready to make its mark on the restaurant industry in Vancouver. As their dishes garnered immediate favourable attention, their branding strategy left an indelible mark on the city’s foodies and industry leaders alike.
With a marketing presence that held true to the values of simplicity, tradition, and freshness, we developed a website, corporate video, posters, business cards, booklets, letterhead, and signage that all conjure images of a simpler time and place. Old world Italy meets modern Vancouver in BACCANO and Global Reach Advertising helped bridge the gap between the restaurant and its brand.
BACCANO shows us that traditional values and modern tastes go hand-in-hand.
